FORTY-FOUR (A BANNED PAGAN) is a solo music project initiated by Coccs, born from a separation and the need to create beyond what came before.

FORTY-FOUR (A BANNED PAGAN) est un projet musical solo initié par Coccs, né d'une séparation et du besoin de créer au-delà de ce qui existait auparavant.

Once a keyboardist and bassist, Coccs stepped into unfamiliar territory, building a project of his own, where writing, experimentation and transformation could take a different shape. Finding a voice became part of that process.

Ancien claviériste et bassiste, Coccs s'est aventuré sur un terrain nouveau en construisant son propre projet, un espace où l'écriture, l'expérimentation et la transformation pouvaient prendre une autre forme. Trouver sa voix est devenu une partie intégrante de ce processus.

The music moves between deathrock, goth rock, coldwave and alternative rock, combining cold guitars, machines, hypnotic rhythms and dark lyrics. It explores darkness, identity, isolation, inner conflict and the uncertain boundary between endings and beginnings.

La musique oscille entre deathrock, goth rock, coldwave et rock alternatif, mêlant guitares froides, machines, rythmes hypnotiques et textes sombres. Elle explore l'obscurité, l'identité, l'isolement, les conflits intérieurs et cette frontière incertaine entre les fins et les commencements.

FORTY-FOUR is neither a continuation nor a return. It does not seek to restore what was lost or repeat what came before. It exists as a new space, shaped by distance, silence and the freedom to move forward.

FORTY-FOUR n'est ni une continuation ni un retour. Le projet ne cherche pas à restaurer ce qui a été perdu, ni à répéter ce qui existait auparavant. Il constitue un nouvel espace, façonné par la distance, le silence et la liberté d'avancer.
